It was an evening of celebration at the Barista National Museum outlet last Saturday (27th) evening, as Colombo’s favourite coffee house celebrated International Coffee Day in style.
In celebration of International Coffee Day, Barista began a special promotion at the beginning of August which rewarded their loyal customers with super exciting prizes and surprises. Customers needed to spend a minimum of 1,000 rupees to enter the grand draw at any of the Barista outlets and multiple entries were given for every 1,000 rupees spent. The enthusiasm for the promotion was seen throughout the month with over 10,000 entries received for the grand draw.
The draw itself was held on Tuesday October 23rd at the Rajagiriya outlet where 12 lucky winners were rewarded with prizes ranging from 2 return air tickets to Italy, hotel stays, electronic items and gift vouchers from partner organizations.
Gifts were sponsored by Sri Lankan Airlines, Abans, ATOM, Far Cry Hotel Wasgamuwa, Ranna212 Tangalle, Galle Face Hotel, No Limit, , Avirate, and Laksala while the electronic media partner of the event was Lite FM who came onboard as the associate sponsor.

Barista Chaiman Mr Ajith Dias and Director Mr Aravinda de Silva graced the occasion to draw the winning names at the Rajagiriya Barista outlet which was recently went through an expansion to offer its customers a bigger and a better experience.
The winners will be presented with these amazing gifts at a mega event that will take place before International Coffee Day (Saturday, 27th September).
